Minecraft was already released for the PC in 2009. Over ten years later, Minecraft: Dungeons was the first spin-off of the series. Minecraft: Dungeons does some things differently than its predecessor. While you continue to move in a world of blocks, fight enemies, and mine resources, Minecraft: Dungeons is a different story. However, you no longer control your character from the ego view, but from the third person view. Therefore, Minecraft: Dungeons can best be categorized as an action RPG. But also the setting changes a lot. Gone are the days when the only thing you could do is go to the underworld to build caves. Instead, after purchasing a Minecraft: Dungeons Key, you'll be able to go underground permanently and fight all kinds of dark creatures. The game is further enhanced by the co-op mode, which allows you to complete the missions together with your friends.

Minecraft: Dungeons should still be interesting for all Minecraft fans despite the changes. In addition, RPG fans, who otherwise could not get along with the aimless endless game of the predecessor, should also enjoy the gameplay.
