Sheepo is a quirky metroidvan platformer with a shape-shifting sheep thing that must traverse an unknown planet to collect samples from each living species for an intergalactic species database. To capture a creature, Sheepo must find its unhatched egg, which happens to be closely guarded by the queen of the species (also known as the boss). With each egg Sheepo collects, you will gain the ability to transform into this creature on contact and explore the deeper parts of the planetary environment. Sheepo is a Metroidvania, but does not contain standard combat. Instead, the gameplay is based on platform and exploration. With each creature collected, Sheepo is able to dig, fly and teleport through a series of interconnected landscapes, uncovering hidden shrines, ancient ruins and strange characters.
