Stellaris: Federations - The big diplomacy update for Stellaris

Stellaris is one of the Grand Strategy titles from the Swedish developer Paradox Development Studio (Crusader Kings II, Europa Universalis IV). Instead of regional and national conflicts on Earth, Stellaris focuses on the development of a galactic civilization. Published in 2016, Stellaris: Federations is another major DLC for the strategy title, which focuses on new diplomatic options. It is now also available as Stellaris: Federations Key.

While past expansions of Stellaris have focused primarily on economic (Stellaris: MegaCorp) and narrative aspects (Stellaris: Leviathan), the DLC Federations expands Stellaris with additional diplomatic options. The game principle of the Federations is expanded, which provides new influential rewards for members. Players can create a federation specializing in military, economics or research - and ally with similarly oriented nations. The Galactic Senate allows the peoples to pass resolutions and establish a universal right for the galactic community. Also new is the Origins system, which allows you to specify the history of each civilization and thus further personalize the game experience. Additional gameplay content is provided by the additional building options - such as a Juggernaut, a mobile starbase or a gigantic shipyard. With Federations, Stellaris is expanded with additional strategic components, bringing peaceful diplomacy more into the playful focus. Of course the main game Stellaris is required to play Federations.
