Star Citizen is an action-adventure game in the sci-fi style developed by Cloud Imperium Games. Chris Roberts is the driving head behind the idea and implementation.
The game has been in alpha stage since 2013 but is already available for purchase and play. For fans who have not yet bought the game, there is currently the opportunity to participate in a Free Fly Week. This means a week of unrestricted access to the game and servers. The event starts on and ends on May 8, 2019. You can also test the new Update 3.5.0 right away. In addition to the first city planet ArcCrop, this includes other free content. So every player receives equipment and ships for the duration to test them thoroughly.
To participate in the Free Fly Week, you only have to follow two steps:
- Create an account on the official Star Citizen site
- Go to the Free Fly page and get access with the code "GETINTOTHEVERSE"
As a preview for the near future for Star Citizen, it has already been announced that the next update 3.6.0 will contain the Squadron 42 campaign. With this update, Robert Stark Industries wants to take a big step towards completion and release.
