Vanargand Games' fantasy city-management game, A Hero's Rest, has received a new update. Version v0.400.27 brings with it numerous new features and improvements that make the gaming experience even more exciting.
Imaginative City Management
In A Hero's Rest, players can build and manage a medieval fantasy city. They must attract heroes and provide for their needs by providing food, equipment and quests.
New Features
The update includes an active pause feature, daily quests, the ability to persuade unhappy heroes to stay, and a new ability called Focus. With the active pause, players can pause the game and take time to act, build and manage their inventory.
Daily quests are now available, allowing players to create repeatable tasks that will be repeated automatically once accepted by heroes. Unhappy heroes will now protest before leaving the city and players can attempt to persuade them to stay with a certain amount of gold.
The new Focus ability comes with 32 new parts that are customizable and allow players to create a new magical equipment piece to help heroes on their quests.
Future Updates
Vanargand Games is actively listening to the community's feedback and has plans for future updates, including raid quests, hero trials, merchant overhauls and more.
