The development team behind Above Snakes has recently released update 1.0.6, which brings some significant improvements in terms of performance, stability, and balancing. With update 1.0.6, the Above Snakes development team has primarily focused on improving the game's performance. The required memory (RAM) for large bases has been significantly reduced - by about 30 to 40 percent compared to the previous version (1.0.5). The loading times for large maps have also been drastically shortened. This should benefit players with older or less powerful systems, resulting in a better gaming experience.

Bug fixes for a smoother gaming experience

- The windmill now loads correctly and no longer disappears.
- Projectiles and arrows can now be shot over water holes in pine forests.
- The getting stuck between colliders in Hunter's Rest has been fixed.
- Colliding objects in the second dream are no longer visible.
- T.N.T barrels destroyed by rifle or bow no longer reappear upon restart.
Balancing adjustments for more fun gameplay
In addition to the bug fixes, update 1.0.6 also adjusted the game's balancing: bows can now damage T.N.T barrels, opening up new tactical possibilities for players.
