The Lizardmen Conquer Age of Wonders 4
Friends, it's time to introduce you to the new Lizardmen race and the new magic tomes from the first content pack "Dragon Dawn" for Age of Wonders 4. In keeping with the dragon theme, the Lizardmen bring with them poisonous and cold-blooded traits, making them an exciting addition to the world of Age of Wonders 4.
Two Fascinating Magic Tomes: Evolution and Dragons
In the "Dragon Dawn" content pack, you can expect two brand new magic tomes with both chaos and nature affinity. The "Tome of Evolution - Level I" deals with the evolution of units, while the "Tome of Dragons - Level III" allows for the acquisition of dragons and the transformation of units into draconians.
Lizardmen: Poisonous and Cold-Blooded
The Lizardmen are a unique race that is characterized by their poisonous body trait, which inflicts damage on melee attackers while also granting them resistance against putrefaction damage. Additionally, they possess the Cold-Blooded mental trait, which reduces their lost morale in combat. You can customize your Lizardmen with various heads and decorations - from snakes to crocodiles to chameleons, there's something for everyone.
The Tome of Evolution: Unit Advancement
The "Tome of Evolution - Level I" allows you to advance units such as the Slither Hatchling and Wyvern Fledgling. The "Rapid Evolution Enchantment" spell grants these units additional experience points in combat as well as resurrection for level 1 and 2 units. The "Draconic Vitality" transformation grants your units more hit points per rank and makes them look more reptilian.
The Tome of Dragons: Dragon Lord Creations
With the "Tome of Dragons - Level III", you can create Dragon Lord Creations and transform your race into dragon-like hybrids. The Young Dragons are level 3 combat units that evolve into their level 5 adult form when they reach the Champion rank. The "Flamer Focus" spell is aimed at combat mages and grants them an ability that deals damage and applies burning and bleeding to affected units. The "Draconian Transformation" transformation grants your units immunity to burning and natural regeneration.
Dragon Dawn: Available from June 20th
