Anno 1800 Palaces of Power - Build your temple today

Palaces of Power is the fourth DLC for the award-winning city-building and economic strategy game Anno 1800. The base game Anno 1800 from the Mainz-based development studio Blue Byte, which was released in April 2019, is the seventh title in the world-famous Anno franchise.

As with all previous titles, this is also an extremely complex economic simulation in which the player develops small villages into metropolises and builds a global trade network. After the futuristic Anno 2205 from 2015, Anno 1800, as the title suggests, is set in the 19th century. The time of the industrial revolution can be enjoyed in an extensive campaign, in the sandbox-like Free Play mode and in the multiplayer mode.

Of course, in addition to technological developments, exploring gigantic maps and building your own cities, diplomatic skills and naval battles are again in the focus of the game.

The DLC Palaces of Power expands the game to include the ability to build gigantic palaces. Fans of the series know that already in the first Anno game almost 23 years ago, Anno 1602, temples could express the center of one's own power. Also in the other editions of the series one could, mostly in the so-called "Late-Game", that is, towards the end of the actual game time, build gigantic facilities such as a cathedral. With Palaces of Power this is now also possible in the current Anno-ABleger.

Starting from a main building, the palace can be gradually improved with annexes according to the player's profile level. Of course, in addition to the optical, the palace also has a gameplay effect, for example, the first building already unlocks ministries.
Here, depending on the strategic wish, different "buffs" can be activated, which guarantee the city permanent or temporary bonuses. Again, the larger the palace complex, the greater the scope and intensity of the improvement. With these new gameplay and tactical features, every crisis that arises on your own island can be averted with political skill thanks to the increased flexibility.

The guidelines introduced in the palace can also be extended to the other inhabited islands of the old world thanks to small outposts and are not limited to the main island alone.

The DLC Palaces of Power is therefore recommended for all Anno fans. Whether
