What to Expect at the Apex Legends Asia Festival

The long-awaited Apex Legends Asia Festival will take place at the University of Science and Technology in Macau on August 19th and 20th. Twenty elite teams, including 10 teams from Greater China, 5 teams from Japan, and 5 teams from South Korea, will participate. In total, 60 renowned cross-game creators and acclaimed Apex Legends professional players and top streamers will come together in Macau to host a two-day, high-profile visual extravaganza!

The festival will feature official matches and entertainment games, guaranteeing an exciting and entertaining experience for all. The official matches are further divided into the main track (i.e., Battle Royale) and the side track (i.e., Team Death Match or TDM). The entertainment games (including Gun Run, Fight Night, and Random Mode) will be interspersed between the official games on each day of play.

The Competition Rules of the Apex Legends Asia Festival

Battle Royale:

There are a total of 20 teams, each consisting of 3 participants, including one cross-game creator and two specialized Apex Legends streamers. All teams will compete in a total of 12 games over two days, with six point-based games per day. The champion will be determined by the overall points.

TDM Mode:

There are a total of three teams, one for each country. Each team consists of six specialized Apex Legends streamers. The three teams will compete in a total of six games over two days, with three individual round games per day (if two teams are tied, an additional tiebreaker game will be added; if three teams are tied, two additional tiebreaker games will be added). The champion will be determined by the total score.

Entertainment Mode:

In addition to the intense competition in the official matches, players from three countries will also participate in entertainment games.

  • Gun Run: There are four teams, each consisting of one participant from each country. The four teams will compete in Gun Run mode.
  • Fight Night: A total of ten participants will compete at the designated location on the designated map. All ten competitors will meet in the Fight Night boxing ring in Olympus within a limited time. Only props provided by loot rollers are allowed to be used. The last standing player wins.
  • Random Mode: There are a total of twenty teams, each consisting of three participants, including one cross-game creator and two specialized Apex Legends streamers. Maps, characters, and weapons will be randomly determined; other items can be freely used. The winning team will be the winner.
