Apex Legends, the successful battle royale game, is gearing up for a new update. The 16th season, called Revelry, brings major changes to the Legends' abilities. A new battle pass, with many cosmetic items, will be introduced. In addition, the class system will be revised and Legends divided into five classes: Assault, Skirmisher, Recon, Controller, and Support.
Revision of Legends' Abilities
Some Legends' abilities will be strengthened in Apex Legends Season 16, others weakened. Here is an overview of the changes for some Legends:
Seer (Nerf)
- Passive ability (heartbeat sensor) changed and no longer allows constant use
- Ultimate ability (Exhibit) weakened in terms of cooldown and duration
Bloodhound (major change)
- Passive ability changed significantly, ghost ravens spawn near Legend when no enemy is around
- Interacting with ravens grants 25% faster charging of tactical and ultimate abilities
Mirage (Buff)
- Mirage and reviving ally remain cloaked for 3 seconds, but uncloaked when weapon is picked up
- If one of Mirage's clones is shot, shooter is marked for 3.5 seconds
Pathfinder (change)
- Range and speed of zipline increased
- Passive bonus no longer obtained by scanning survey beacons, but by revealing position of care packages
Wraith (change)
- Distance of ultimate ability (Dimensional Rift) portal doubled, duration shortened
- Sprint speed increased while creating long portals
