Survival games are currently very popular. Not only will Sons of the Forest be released at the end of February, two years after Ark 2 was announced, but finally a release window has been set. The release window was made public at this year's Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase in the form of a release date video. In this we saw Vin Diesel appear, but apart from a cinematic trailer he gave us no insight into the gameplay. The new dinosaur survival adventure hit is due to be released by June 2023 at the latest - at least according to Xbox.
In addition, this week the dinosaur concept art to be implemented in Ark 2 was revealed in the latest Community Crunch newsletter from the studio. It has been confirmed that the Stegosaurus and Brachiosaurus will join the many dinosaurs in the series. The article also makes it clear that the game is still in development.
Ark 2 for Xbox and PC
Ark 2 will then be available for Xbox consoles and PC. As a Game Pass member you can dive into the game on the first day of release without any additional cost.
