The long-awaited co-op mode in Armored Core 6
Friends of armored combat, there is reason to rejoice - the co-op mode of Armored Core 6 is finally on its way, thanks to a massive new project by a renowned FromSoftware game and Elden Ring modder. AC6 has continued to impress us months after its release with its spectacular vision and brutal difficulty. But what we've been missing so far is the cooperative experience that made Demon's Souls and Bloodborne masterpieces. But not for much longer!
The legendary modder behind the biggest multiplayer overhaul of Elden Ring is now taking on Armored Core 6. Imagine a seamless co-op experience where death is not the end and the levels are scaled to accommodate more than one player. How about playing the entire Armored Core 6 Fires of Rubicon from start to finish with your best friend?
What does the co-op mode in Armored Core 6 offer?
The co-op mode in Armored Core 6, created by modder 'LukeYui', is exactly what you've been dreaming of and more. Up to six players can join forces to play through the entire AC6 campaign. Your group stays together between missions, so you don't have to separate and reconnect. The difficulty can be adjusted based on the number of people in the group.
Scaling of enemies
LukeYui says that enemy scaling will also be included, although it is not yet present in the current test version. He hasn't shared more specific details about it yet. So, it remains exciting!
Looking ahead to the Armored Core 6 co-op mode
The mod is still in the alpha testing phase, and a specific release date has not been announced yet. But if we look at LukeYui's work on Elden Ring, we can be sure that this mod will be a must-have for all fans of Armored Core 6 Fires of Rubicon.
