Assassin's Creed Mirage - The Parkour system from Unity is finally back

Ubisoft has announced that there will be significantly more parkour in Assassin's Creed Mirage. The developers have been inspired by the 2014 release of Assassin's Creed Unity.

Parkour like in Unity

Lead producer of Assassin's Creed Mirage, Fabian Salomon, confirmed this in an interview. According to Salomon, the goal of Mirage is to reach the parkour level of Unity.

In addition, Mirage will take place in Baghdad. Since the developers are trying to come as close as possible to Baghdad at that time, the game world will be very densely built and populated in the city. This was unfortunately not the case in the last two titles, because both the game world of Assassin's Creed Valhalla and the game world of Assassin's Creed Odyssey were rather less densely populated. The cities often had only one or two-story buildings and a lot of air between them. This will be different in Mirage. Baghdad will have many narrow alleys, market halls and towers.

As further teasers for the game, Salomon also mentioned that the assassin missions will return. As a small fly in the ointment, Mirage will only contain approximately 15 to 20 hours of playtime at release. This is due to the linear story, which no longer degenerates into a completely overloaded open world with countless small side missions.
