Assetto Corsa Competizione GT4 Pack - fotorealistische Rennsimulation bietet jetzt zusätzliche Inhalte

The world-famous racing game series "Assetto Corsa" and its latest installment "Assetto Corsa Competizione" are probably familiar to every car and video game fan. Although the Blancpain-GT-Series-Simulation released in May 2019 has already captivated most of its community, development studio "Kunos Simulazioni" is trying to set new standards with the GT4 Pack DLC.

Assetto Corsa Competizione tries, like its predecessors in the video game series, to put the player in the shoes of a real GT3 racecar driver. This is done by focusing on official data from drivers, teams, cars, and tracks, as well as on breathtaking photorealistic graphics. Furthermore, the large selection of game modes is crucial to the success: Whether you want to compete in an online or offline sprint, endurance, or Spa 24-hour race for the best position, Assetto Corsa Competizione offers an outstanding variety of options that never make the racing simulation seem boring.

Now, "Kunos Simulazioni" wants to take its world-famous GT3 gaming series to a new level with the brand-new GT4 Pack DLC. The downloadable content includes 11 impressive new models from the Gran Turismo 4 class, giving fans of the GT4 racing category the opportunity to drive their favorite racecar bodies in Asetto Corsa for the first time. In addition to world-famous classics like the BMW M4 GT4, the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport, or the Mercedes-AMG GT4, the new cars include unique "PS-monsters" from manufacturers KTM, Ginetta, Audi, Chevrolet, Alpine, McLaren, Aston Martin, and Maserati. With the DLC, you of course also get the GT4 Championship mode in addition to the new vehicles.

PC gamers in particular can look forward to the expansion pack, as it has been available on Steam since July 15, 2020. Therefore, there are already almost 150 user reviews, of which 95% rate the DLC as "positive". The first experiences show that the development studio "Kunos Simulazioni" lives up to the high expectations of the community with the GT4 package. Console players will have to wait until autumn: an exact date is not yet known.

With the GT4 pack, "Kunos Simulazioni" wants to take the next step towards "diversity" in order to first satisfy its own community with new content and possibilities, and second, to cover other areas of motorsport and thus build a larger network. It is quite possible that the increase in competitiveness against the Gran Turismo series was also an intention of the developers, as this series can score points in particular with a huge selection of vehicles.

Even though the target audiences of the GT3 and GT4 categories probably overlap quite a bit, "Kunos Simulazioni" is still trying to expand its community in order to dominate the racing game scene piece by piece. Nevertheless, Assetto Corsa Competizione also offers players who are less interested in motorsport unique gameplay fun with friends, as the basic mechanics and strategy can be learned relatively quickly and easily.

The Italian development studio "Kunos Simulazioni" focuses exclusively on the scene of racing simulations and is therefore one of the world's leading studios in this genre. Other interesting video games in addition to the successful Assetto Corsa series are Ferrari Virtual Academy (2010) and netKar Pro (2006), which can be seen as "experimental work" for later released Assetto Corsa parts with the focus on "realism" in racing simulations.
