New Game+ mode and other updates
Atomic Heart's patch 1.8.0.0 is here and it brings some exciting changes to the game! The update is now available on PC and consoles and adds a brand new game mode called "New Game+". This mode presents players with unprecedented challenges as enemies are now equipped with new abilities and show up in different color auras.
The different color auras represent specific abilities:
- Purple Aura - Master of Elements: Immunity against glove abilities and bullet weapons
- Red Aura - Daredevil: Accelerated attacks and movements
- Yellow Aura - Body Armor: Immunity against firearms
- Green Aura - Athlete: All enemy attacks force the player to the ground
- Orange Aura - Kamikaze: The enemy explodes upon approaching the player
- Turquoise Aura - Lightning Rod: Enemy attacks drain the player's energy
- Blue Aura - Translocator: Upon approaching the player, the enemy abruptly moves away

Improvements to game stability and solutions to issues
Along with the new game mode, Patch 1.8.0.0 also brings improvements to game stability. However, if issues still arise, the developers have provided some recommendations:
- If the Atomic Heart game client has been modified by third-party software, the game is not guaranteed or supported. In this case, it is recommended to uninstall the software and reinstall the game.
- If there are issues on Steam, it is recommended to first verify the integrity of the game files, as described here: https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/0C48-FCBD-DA71-93EB
- Updating the driver to the latest version can improve performance (NVIDIA only).
The issue with unlocking achievements has already been resolved, but in some very rare cases, the following issues may occur:
- Delay in unlocking achievements on a platform that requires an internet connection for this process;
- For players whose achievements were exclusively achieved on save files before or during the Day 1 patch, some issues can be resolved as follows:
- a) If achievements were not unlocked even though the progress was achieved, all conditions must be re-executed by starting a new game.
- b) If all achievements have been achieved, but the achievement "The Motherland Does Not Forget its Heroes" for achieving all achievements has not been unlocked, the problem can be easily solved by starting a new game. The data will be recalculated when starting the new game, leading to the unlocking of the achievement.
