Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora - Editions and Contents
The open-world game "Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora," inspired by James Cameron's films, is set to release this winter and is already causing a stir. Ubisoft has announced four different versions of the game that will be available on its release date of December 7, 2023:
- Standard Edition: This version includes the base game without any additional content. If you're interested in DLCs later on, you'll need to purchase the Season Pass separately.
- Gold Edition: This version includes the base game and the Season Pass. This means you'll have access to the game and all future content. Ubisoft is already planning two story packs for the Season Pass. Additionally, there's an extra quest, a unique Banshee cosmetic set, and more.
- Ultimate Edition: In addition to the base game and future DLCs, you'll receive the "Ultimate Pack" and a digital artbook. The contents are the same as the Gold Edition, but you'll also get a Sarentu Heritage cosmetic pack with beautiful colors for mounts, characters, and weapons, as well as a Sarentu Hunter equipment pack with an equipment set and a unique weapon.
- Collector's Edition: This edition combines all the digital content from the previous editions and also includes physical extras. Look forward to an impressive statue of a Na'vi woman with a bow and arrow, a physical artbook, a premium steelbook, and a notebook. As a cherry on top, there's also a certificate of authenticity.
Pre-orders and Season Pass
It seems that the developers of the game have already planned additional content before its release. To enjoy these contents, you should consider which of the four editions offered best suits your preferences. If you are not sure, you can always start with the Standard Edition and purchase the Season Pass later if needed.
