The developers of Back 4 Blood have announced that they will not be producing any more DLCs for the game. Reason: The focus is already on a new title.
Back 4 Blood was first released in October 2021. This was followed by a total of three DLCs, the first expansion came in April 2022 and was called Tunnels of Terror, the second appeared in August 2022 under the name "Children Of The Worm". The expansion "River of Blood" of the popular co-op zombie smasher Back 4 Blood, which was released in December 2022, should have been the last one. This is what the developers Turtle told us. Since the focus is already on a new game, the fight against the Ridden is now coming to an end. In addition, the developer reports that the current Turtel Rock Studios with its few employees is simply too small to design AAA games and generate expansions for already released titles - in this case Back 4 Blood.
Even though the studio is now plunging into its new game, the Back 4 Blood server will remain online.
