Baldur's Gate 3: A Development Story
Baldur's Gate 3 is a game that was in development for nearly 6 years. When Divinity: Original Sin 2 was released, Larian Studios had just 120 people, and now they have grown to 400. Since its release in Early Access, almost two million of you have joined them. Together, the developers have created a game that surpasses their previous role-playing games in depth and breadth. Sounds like a real must-have Baldur's Gate 3 for your game collection, doesn't it?
Release Date and Platforms
You read that right. The development team plans to release the game based on platform readiness. Baldur's Gate 3 will first launch on PC on August 3, before hitting PlayStation 5 a few weeks later on September 6.
PC Version
Baldur's Gate 3 for PC will be available just in time for the holiday season, so you'll have plenty of time to dive into the game! The PlayStation 5 version will be released about a week later than originally planned, on August 31.
PlayStation Version
Baldur's Gate 3 aims for a frame rate of 60 frames per second on the PlayStation platform, and the developers are close to achieving this goal but need a little more time.
