The Hunt for Mol
My friend, you surely know it well: You're deep in the world of Baldur's Gate 3, fighting your way through dungeons and conversations, and you come across that one quest that really gets you sweating. Yes, I'm talking about the infamous Find Mol quest. But fear not! I've put together this guide to lend you a hand with this tricky task.
The search for Mol is part of Act 2 in Baldur's Gate 3. During your visit to the Last Light Inn, you encounter her - but as soon as the hideout is attacked, she disappears without a trace. Your group asks for your help, and thus begins your turbulent search.
Where is Mol hiding?
Mol is clever and her tracks are hard to find. Rumors will lead you astray - don't be fooled! The Mind Flayer colony or the Moonrise Towers? All just distractions. In fact, she only reappears in Act 3. So save your energy and only search for her then. Traverse Wyrm's Crossing and head to the Lower City - that's where you'll finally find her.
The path to the Guildhall
Mol is hiding in the Guildhall - a secret place beneath the city. A labyrinth in itself! But don't worry, I have a few tricks up my sleeve to help you get inside.
If you complete Jaheira's quest for Minsc - yes, our good old Minsc from the ranks of the Ranger class and even a possible romance option - she will show you the way to the Guildhall.
You can also convince Tusgront, a guardian on site, to open the entrance to the Guildhall. Keep Jaheira by your side while doing so! For everyone else, there's another way: Help the guild at the South Span Checkpoint on the beach. Tusgront will let you in through the main entrance of the Guildhall as a friend of the guild.
If you're not yet at that stage in Baldur's Gate 3, you can also sneak through the sewers - but that's definitely more time-consuming and risky!
Whichever path you choose - keep an eye out for Mol inside the building and talk to her to successfully complete the mission.
