Baldur's Gate 3 breaks all records
Friends of epic role-playing games, we have news! "Baldur's Gate 3" has broken its shackles and now allows players to go far beyond the previous limits. A new mod has surpassed the official level cap of Dungeons & Dragons, allowing you to reach the legendary level 30. And while this fast-paced ride may not always be balanced or fair, it brings new aspects to the gameplay.
Normally, "Baldur's Gate 3" stops your progression just before the official DnD level cap. However, with the new mod, you can push the Larian role-playing game to level 30. This is an increase that goes far beyond what "Baldur's Gate 3" and even Wizards of the Coast have offered so far.
New Dimensions with the Level 30 Mod
The "Level 30" mod by Elmwick opens up completely new possibilities for you. You can focus entirely on one class or multiclass up to 18 levels higher than in the base game. To reach the legendary Level 30, you'll need a whopping 610,000 XP – about three times as much as the Larian cap of 12. But don't worry, you don't have to fight three times as much: all experience gains have been doubled, and every battle even grants three times the amount of normal XP. And as if that wasn't enough, each class also receives an ability with every level-up beyond Level 21, and the base stats increase as well.

But why did Larian actually stop at Level 12? According to CEO Swen Vincke, Dungeons & Dragons simply has too many powerful spells beyond that point, which could quickly unbalance the game. However, thanks to the new mod, we can now venture into the heights of Level 30 nonetheless.
