Exciting Changes in Baldur's Gate 3

The fifth major patch for "Baldur's Gate 3" is on its way, and, as with previous patches, you can expect a variety of adjustments and bug fixes. According to datamining, there will also be some heartwarming and druid-friendly changes.
More Details About the Patch
The latest patch for "Baldur's Gate 3" is just around the corner, and if recent datamining efforts are correct, the fantasy RPG is getting some significant, kiss-friendly changes.
In addition to bug fixes, major patches usually include some significant gameplay adjustments. In the case of the last patch, these ranged from the ability to use sponges to clean your party, to the toxicity of spider meat when licked.
New Additions to the Game
Now, according to a dataminer, Patch 5 will introduce some highly requested additions. The first of these are more kisses to spice up your romantic endeavors, complete with appropriate motion capture. And for platonic relationships, there will be more hugs, including Astarion, who needs a lot of hugs. Halsin will also receive new dialogues.
But the most interesting addition is the ability to recruit the cunning drow character Minthara without slaughtering an entire druid grove - a curious change on Larian's part.
Recruit Minthara Without Violence
Minthara is very popular among fans. She initially works for the Absolute, an in-game faction whose motives I can't reveal without spoiling Act 3. But if you want, you can bring her to your side and break her loyalty to the Absolute. Previously, you had to either kill an entire settlement or, by exploiting a strange glitch, turn her into a sheep.
According to the dataminer "faery_willow," that is changing now. There will be a new way to hire her and skip the druid slaughter. This means you can also bring Halsin to your side, but according to faery_willow, you cannot romance both.

Larian plans to release Patch 5 later this week, along with a community update explaining what changes are being made.
