Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord Patch 1.2.7 Finally Live - After being available as a beta version for Steam users, the patch has now been officially released. Xbox and PS users can also benefit from it.

The developers of Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord recently released the latest update, Patch 1.2.7, which is now also available for PlayStation and Xbox users. While it is already playable without issues on PlayStation, the Xbox version seems to be facing some certification problems.

According to the developers, the Xbox version will soon follow once the ongoing certification process is complete. Xbox players are expected to enjoy the update approximately one or two weeks after the publication of this post.

The key changes in Patch 1.2.7:

  1. New battlefields and hideouts: Six new battlefields and four new hideout scenes for bandits have been added. These provide players with a more diverse environment for their fights.

  2. Weather effects: The weather and climate system has been introduced. Rain and snow can now occur not only on the campaign map but also in missions. This affects the speed and bonuses for certain units depending on the season and region.

  3. UI overhaul: Numerous screens in the game, including income, expenses, clan screen, marriage proposals, and crafting screen, have received a comprehensive overhaul. New buttons and tooltips provide players with more information.

  4. Formation target selection: Players can now give commands to different formations to engage with other formations in battle. This allows for more precise control of the battles.

  5. Improved auto-battle system: The auto-battle calculation system has been revised to make more specific calculations on flat terrain, forests, mountains, and other terrains. Players can now better estimate how their units will perform in automated battles.

  6. Perk changes and bug fixes: Many perks have been revised, and numerous bugs have been fixed to ensure a more balanced gaming experience.

  7. New quests: Three new quests have been added, and some existing quests have been revised and fixed.

  8. Movable siege ladders: A long-awaited feature has finally been implemented. Players can now push down enemy ladders during sieges or push themselves down.

  9. Troop changes: A variety of improvements have been made to the AI of melee, ranged, and cavalry units to enable more realistic and tactical battles.

  10. Modding improvements: The modding system has received numerous enhancements to provide modders with more opportunities.

With this comprehensive update, players of Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord can enjoy numerous new features and improvements. The full list of changes is available in the forums, where the developers provide detailed reports on each patch from 1.2.0 to 1.2.7.

The update will soon be available for Xbox players, and it is recommended to regularly check for certification. In the meantime, PlayStation and PC players can fully enjoy the new features and improvements. The game remains dynamic and offers an even deeper player experience in the world of Bannerlord.
