Battlefield 2042 invites you to the Halloween Special Mission
Hey, we have some exciting news for all Battlefield 2042 fans out there! Gather your equipment and get ready for an adventure, because from October 31st to November 14th, you have the opportunity to participate in the limited-time mission called "Dark Protocol". In this event, the goal is to stop an emerging threat at the Boreas Facility. Sounds like a challenge? Definitely! But let's be honest, which one of us gamers can resist a good adrenaline rush?
For this special mission, a new limited-time game mode called "Killswitch" has been introduced. In this mode, your task is to secure AOS nodes and create an army of synthetic soldiers - known as the Ghosts - using the forge located on-site. These eerie warriors fight alongside their summoner. It's going to be thrilling!
The Rules of Killswitch
The rules of the Killswitch mode are actually quite simple: you have to secure AOS nodes on different maps and defend them against enemy attacks. For each secured node, your team earns a point, and the team that reaches 5 points first wins. But as we all know, in Battlefield 2042, nothing is really "simple". So get ready for some intense battles!
Tips for Victory
- Control the Forge: The Geists can drastically change the outcome of the game. So don't forget to use them wisely!
- Hidden Threat: The Geists are true killing machines. Use them wisely and make your opponents tremble.
- Fortification: Killswitch is played on some of the smallest objectives of all modes. So use your tools strategically and cleverly.
- Know Your Objective: The Killswitch objectives work differently than normal flags. So be attentive!
