Developers from EA and DICE have announced that Season 4 of Battlefield 2042 will be released next week. The DLC titled "Eleventh Hour" will feature new weapons, a new vehicle called the CAV-Brawler, and the map "Flashpoint" in South Africa.
The DLC also introduces Camila Blasco (Recon), a specialist with unique abilities. Here are the details.
New Weapons and Vehicles
In "Eleventh Hour" there are four new weapons, including the Super 500 Shotgun Sidearm, RM68 Assault Rifle, AC9 SMG and RPT-31 LMG. Additionally, there is a new vehicle called the CAV-Brawler, an armored troop transport vehicle that can be used as a spawn point for the team.
Flashpoint Map
The new map "Flashpoint" is set in South Africa and offers close-quarters combat near industrial facilities. The map contains a variety of anti-aircraft guns and the environment can be modified by triggering explosives.
X6 Infiltration Device
A new gadget has also been introduced, the X6 Infiltration Device. It prevents locks on enemy devices, disrupts active spotting technology and reveals enemy technology.
Battle Pass and Cosmetics
As usual, there will also be a new Battle Pass containing the usual cosmetic items, but further details have yet to be revealed.
Battlefield 2042 is available on a variety of platforms, including PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4 and PS5. Season 4 starts on February 28th.
