Welcome to the Battlefield of Battlefield 2042
Put on your combat boots, because it's time for a new special in-game event in Battlefield 2042: The Arkangel Directive. This event runs from July 11th to July 25th and plunges us right into the conflict between the superpowers and the Arkangel Legion.
Who is the Arkangel Legion?
Arkangel is a private military unit funded by the world's richest company. They are neutral, serving all nations equally, and investing in advanced robotics and AI technologies. Their soldiers are the elite, equipped with state-of-the-art technology and a promise of victory in every mission.
The "Control" Game Mode
For this event, a new game mode called "Control" is being introduced. Players must take control of rotating objectives and upload tactical telemetry – the more data they collect, the more Ascension Points they can earn to purchase vehicles.
Claiming Satellites
To take control, players must approach active satellites and claim them for their side – a tactical maneuver that requires both skill and strategy.
Earning Vehicles
Good performance in combat is rewarded with Ascension Points. These points can then be used for vehicle hot drops – a crucial advantage on the battlefield in Battlefield 2042.
Tips & Tricks
- Focus on capturing and holding objectives. Kills are helpful, but not the key to victory.
- Call in vehicles for your team as quickly as possible.
- Learn the patterns of the appearing objectives – this way you'll always be one step ahead of your opponents.
- Communication is everything – coordinate your attacks with your team!
