Battlefield 2042: Update 3.1 - Changelog with improvements and bug fixes

Developer DICE has released a new update for Battlefield 2042, which includes numerous improvements and bug fixes. The changelog of the update includes the following changes

General Improvements
The end of the Round Sequence now explains what will happen after this transition phase.

Fixed issues with Hazard Zone and Vehicle icons flickering on the large map.

Minimap icon scaling is now adjustable and can scale with view distance.

Ping visualizations are now displaying correctly, and a base circle VFX on a location ping has been added.

Controller Mapping
Default assignments for controller layouts have been updated to accommodate the new Class Gadget slot and gameplay changes.

Custom layouts will be reset and players are encouraged to re-tune their controls.

Battlefield Portal
Multiple issues have been fixed with Battlefield 3, and custom Portal experiences have enabled Ribbons XP instead of the usual Restricted XP.

Maps
Fixed issues with Breakaway, Kaleidoscope, Stranded and Spearhead maps.

Soldier
Improved consistency with melee takedowns, prone behavior on steep slopes and zipline behavior.

Fixed issues with ladder camera, downed state audio and disappearing weapon icons.

Specialists
Fixed issues with Casper, Crawford, Dozer, Falck, Lis, Paik and Zain.

Gadgets
Fixed issues with the EMP Grenade.
