Patch Notes for Baldur's Gate 3: Welcome to Hotfix 15
Attention, friends of epic battles and thrilling stories: The latest hotfix for Baldur's Gate 3 is here, bringing along some improvements. From progression blockers to graphical glitches, Larian Studios has tweaked many aspects to further optimize the gaming experience.
Among other things, a creepy issue has been resolved where characters' faces would transform into "extended eldritch horrors with flesh pits instead of eyes." And yes, that definitely sounds like something you wouldn't want to see in your favorite RPG.
Corrections and Improvements in Detail
Another important change concerns the Baldur's Gate 3 Mods. If you frequently switch between different mods, you may have noticed a bug that prevented a game from loading when the used mods were changed. This issue is now a thing of the past.
But be careful: Some save files may still not load, depending on which mods were changed. However, the menu should now allow you to continue. Additionally, a crash that could occur when loading a multiplayer save file after a game over has been fixed.
Other Bug Fixes at a Glance
- Fixed a bug that prevented you from talking to other characters in the camp when returning with the Long Rest button.
- Correction for "some incorrect character behaviors".
- Changes to story moments, including a correction for Karlach and a modification to the 'Deal with the Devil' quest.
- Fixed the "Pinocchio Problem" where characters' noses and cheeks would stretch in cinematic sequences.
