New Residents from Bikini Bottom
In addition to the lively trio, more familiar faces from the sea are joining the fray. The Flying Dutchman as a sidekick or King Jellyfish as a KO effect - Brawlhalla is getting a hefty dose of ocean breeze. But what else does the new patch have in store?
What Patch 8.02 brings
Patch 8.02 brings a lot of additional additions along with the new characters. The long-awaited PlayStation Cross Inventory is being introduced, allowing PlayStation brawlers to enjoy all the benefits of the Cross-Inventory system in Brawlhalla.
New challenges and balance pass
In addition, two new challenges have been added for preview and a balance pass has been conducted. This involved targeted changes to certain combo starters for overperforming weapons, while also making improvements to some key tools.
Further game improvements & bug fixes
There have also been some technical advancements: players can now individually ban two maps in all queues, and there is a new setting option - Spectate Delay. This allows you to choose between "Speed" for a 1-second delay or "Quality" for a 3-second delay.
