Bus World Update: Chernobyl Map Gets a New Look - Everything You Need to Know About the Latest Changes

The long-awaited Bus World update is here!

Finally, the long-awaited update for Bus World has been released and it brings some exciting new features. The expansion of the Chernobyl map, new scenarios, improved camera behavior physics, and many other minor changes are waiting for you. You can already download the update on Steam and enjoy it soon on other platforms.

Chernobyl map expanded and new scenarios

The most noticeable change in the game is the new part of the Chernobyl map. The developers have expanded the forest area south of the Red Forest and added swamps. Two new scenarios take place here, one of which features the recently introduced rainy weather, which is now even better. For all route planners out there, there are additional bus stops in the new area, so you can create your own routes.

Improved Camera Physics

Some time ago, the development team released a video showcasing the new physics of the first-person camera. Now, you can try it out for yourself! The camera reacts to all types of bus movements, including bumps on the road. By the way, this new camera behavior is optional and can be disabled in the settings. It should also work well with TrackIR.

Weather Changes and Outdoor Mode Improvements

For those who enjoy driving in the outdoor mode of Bus World, there is more good news: you can now change the weather from the garage. But don't worry, if you prefer random weather, you can still select it from the dropdown list.

Quality Improvements and Optimizations

The developers have worked hard to increase the overall quality of the game: it is now easier and clearer to exit the garage in outdoor mode with or without a route. Additionally, performance has been improved in some areas, especially in the rockfall scenario. Also, the displays on Soviet buses now move around a bit – just like in real life.

More Updates and News

As you can see, the developers are continuously adding new content to the game without neglecting the improvement of quality and the addition of new features. The team is not stopping here, so stay tuned for more news. We will keep you updated on future updates soon.
