Under the name Outbreak, the shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War received a completely revised version of the Zombie mode, with which the developers of Treyarch want to bring fresh wind to the battlefields.
Outbreak continues the story around the dark Aether and confronts you with target-based firefights that take place on the largest multiplayer maps of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Tasks include, for example, deadly battles against elite opponents who can be tracked down by satellite trackers.
In other missions, however, the aim is to safely escort Rovers to the designated target points or simply to engage in battle against large hordes of zombies. The so-called dark Aether areas provide additional suspense, which can be entered via corresponding portals and offer particularly challenging tasks.
Once the survivors have completed the main tasks, they have the choice of whether to leave the battlefield by helicopter or venture into one of the dark Aether areas to unlock additional, exclusive rewards. The choice and the associated risk are up to you.
