The next installment of the popular shooter series from Activision Blizzard, Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War, is about to be released. The latest installment of the successful Black Ops series is scheduled to come out on November 13th, 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. After the release of the new console generation, the game will also be available in an optimized version for Xbox Series X and Series S as well as for the PlayStation 5.
The legendary series continues
The fifth Black Ops installment was once again developed by Studio Treyarch, which is responsible for several classics in the history of Call of Duty, such as World at War, Call of Duty 3, or the Black Ops predecessors. In contrast to Black Ops 4, which focused exclusively on multiplayer content, you can look forward to a singleplayer campaign in Black Ops Cold War that takes you back to the early 1980s, during the height of the Cold War.
The story picks up directly where the first Call of Duty Black Ops from 2010 left off. You won't have to do without the various multiplayer modes or the crossplay feature that was introduced last year and allows you to play across platforms with your friends. Fans of the legendary zombie mode will also have something to look forward to this year.
