With Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War, publisher Activision Blizzard is releasing another sequel to the popular shooter series. The game, created by developers Treyarch and Raven Software, is supposed to take shooter fans into the exciting setting of the Cold War. Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War will be released for PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One on November 13th 2020. Versions for Playstation 5 and Xbox Series will follow.
At the moment, players can already play the open beta. In addition to the traditional 6v6 mode and 12v12 mode, it also includes a new 40-player mode. But so far it has been unknown what other content the finished game will offer. After several leaks were published, the developers have now confirmed it. Maps in Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War
1. Armada:
A map in the North Atlantic consisting of several ships. Players can travel between the ships by boat or zip line, or swim. The large, open distances make the map a paradise for snipers.
2. Cartel
This map takes place in the center of a large cartel compound that the players must storm. A highlight is the large tower in the middle of the map, from which the map can be overviewed.
3. Crossroads
This map provides access to tanks and is a dream for any sniper. It is a very open map with a large ice field making up most of the terrain. There are isolated concrete bunkers around the perimeter.
4. Miami
A beautiful, neon-lit southern beach is the backdrop for this urban battlefield. Miami is an asymmetrical and three-lane map that takes place at night.
5. Moscow
This map is located in the center of Moscow and offers a mix of CQB and long-range combat, with the city's open streets being good for snipers while the metro station is perfect for SMGs and shotguns.
6. Satellite
Satellite is an open desert map with a lot of natural cover and a clear high ground in the center that will be the most heavily contested area.
