The start of the second season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II & Warzone 2.0 is just around the corner and fans are eagerly awaiting the upcoming changes to the game. The official patch notes have now been released and bring with them some exciting new additions. Here are the key changes at a glance.
The Return of Resurgence
With the new Ashika Island map and Ronin operator, the “Resurgence” mode is back and faster and more frantic than ever before. Five new weapons have also been added, including the ISO Hemlock, KV Broadside, Dual Kodachis and Crossbow, three of which are available in the Battle Pass.
A New Personal Watercraft Machine
In addition to the changes to the Battle Pass, there is also a new personal watercraft machine for fast fights in the water. The machine is especially useful for players looking for a new tactical challenge.
Path of the Ronin Event
In the new "Path of the Ronin" Event, players can earn rewards by completing seven challenges based on the "Seven Virtues of Bushido". The rewards include an Operator Skin, a Weapon Blueprint and a Weapon Charm.
Increase in Prestige Rank Caps
The highest Prestige Rank level has been increased to Prestige 9, while the Level Cap has been raised to 450. Players can now reach even higher levels and improve their skills in battle.
Tuning Update for Weapons
The Tuning Update for Weapons brings some interesting changes to the weapons. Laser rigs, sliders and some harmful tuning attributes have been adjusted. Assault Rifles have also been adjusted, including increasing the damage at medium range for M13B and reducing the damage for Kastov 762.
