Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0 are going into the next round! Season 02 starts on February 15th and brings many new content for shooter fans.
New Warzone 2.0 Map - Ashika Island
Warzone 2.0 awaits players on the new map Ashika Island. The Japanese-inspired map is 30% larger than previous small maps and offers many new possibilities for exciting battles. On Ashika Island, players will find an old castle, a beach club, a harbor, agriculture and much more.
Multiplayer Ranked Play and the Return of Ronin
In the new season, Multiplayer Ranked Play is also being introduced in Modern Warfare II. This allows players to measure their skills against other players and improve their rank. In addition, the modern samurai Daniel Ronin Shinoda returns, who was already a popular character in the first season.
New Functional Weapons and Expansions for Resurgence Mode and DMZ
In the new season, players will also receive four new free functional weapons. The Resurgence Mode and the DMZ are also expanding to Ashika Island. The Resurgence Mode is available for solos, duos, trios and quads and allows for multiple re-entries as long as a squad member is still alive. The countdown can be shortened by defeating enemies, and the last standing squad wins regardless of re-entries.
New Contracts and Public Events
On Ashika Island there are also rewards for picking up dog tags. In addition, two new contracts are being introduced: Search and Seizure and Data Heist. Search and Seizure involves the recovery of a stolen vehicle, while Data Heist involves hacking three uplink stations.
