Call of Duty: Warzone - Is Season 2 headed to the tropical paradise?

The current installment of the Call-of-Duty series Black Ops Cold War also features a comprehensive multiplayer mode in addition to its campaign. Black Ops Cold War and Warzone will start their second season on February 25, 2021, bringing with them some new features. Here's what they'll be.

New weapons and operators for both sides

In total, eight new weapons make it into the game with the update. In addition to a machete and the shovel-like E-Tool in the area of close combat weapons, these include a new sniper rifle, a compact minigun, or a crossbow that allows for silent kills.

You can look forward to four additional characters in the form of three specialists on the NATO side and one operator for the Warsaw Pact.

Additional game modes and locations

With the 6-against-6 mode Stockpile and the new Free-for-all variant Gun Game, two new regular modes find their way into the game. In addition, Season 2 offers the exciting new Zombie mode Outbreak, which takes you to the Ural Mountains. The Ural is also the setting for the new map Golova, which is used in the large-scale multi-team game.

The map Apocalypse, which is designed for compact 6-against-6 modes, introduces a jungle setting and chooses a cartel base as its location, so you can also fight your way through the jungle in the future. For even more concentrated fighting in the 2-against-2 or 3-against-3 mode, the update also brings the Mansion map, which should be familiar to anyone who has already completed the campaign.
