Successful Launch of Chained Echoes
Congratulations to the team behind Chained Echoes! The game has exceeded all expectations and is enjoying great popularity on Steam, Discord, Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, and even TikTok. The developers are overwhelmed by the positive feedback and grateful for the support of the community. However, with great success come many questions and suggestions, which they would like to address in this post.
Patches & Updates for Chained Echoes
Despite an extensive beta phase, some issues in the game have remained undiscovered. Unfortunately, save game and crash problems continue to occur. However, the developers are eagerly reading all Steam threads and messages on other platforms to fix the issues as quickly as possible. Please note that console patches may take a little longer due to certification processes.
Additional Languages for Chained Echoes
Soon, Japanese language support will be available for the PC version of Chained Echoes. No other languages are currently planned. The team is aware that many players would like to see Chinese or Spanish localization, but they have to make decisions based on sales figures. Although Chinese and Spanish are among the most spoken languages worldwide, sales of indie games in these regions are relatively low. Since Chained Echoes contains over 200,000 words, translating it into these languages is unfortunately not feasible.
Future Content: New Game+ and More
Developer Matthias is currently working on a New Game+ mode and some minor quality of life improvements in the game. Regarding DLCs or sequels, the developers have no concrete plans yet. Once the most pressing issues are resolved, they want to sit down and discuss possible options for future content.
