The Economy Simulation in Cities: Skylines 2

Hello, dear gamers! Today, we are diving into the exciting world of the economy simulation in Cities: Skylines 2. The developer has completely redesigned the simulation, offering us an impressively realistic gaming experience. But don't worry, it remains entertaining and playable.

All core systems have been revamped, resulting in a complete overhaul of the economy simulation. It is now even deeper and more complex, yet not too complicated for us players. This game is all about households, businesses, urban services, and trade – a true micro-management paradise!

Zones and their Relationships

At the core of the economy are the zones and their relationships with each other. Industrial companies seek optimal locations with access to resources, while commercial companies need products for sale as well as employees. On the other hand, large families prefer larger apartments in areas with low and medium density.

With taxes, you can influence various business activities and actively shape your city. But be careful! Money doesn't come out of thin air - rents, import payments, corporate profits, and even your player income are factors that need to be considered.

Symbiosis between the Actors

The economy is heavily influenced by the flow of various resources between the actors; households, businesses, and urban services play important roles here. I find the aspect of the production chain particularly fascinating - this is where the game shines.

Special industrial areas require natural resources such as fertile land or oil to function. And even office firms have special needs - for example, they require electronics or software as input resources.

A closer look at the Economy Panel is definitely worth it! From there, you can delve deep into the finances of your city and learn a lot about economic relationships in a playful way.

Curious? Then take a look at Cities: Skylines 2 and immerse yourself in the exciting action. If you don't have a key yet, you can easily find one on our Steam Key page. Have fun building your dream city!
