City Skylines 2: Traffic Gets More Realistic
City Skylines 2 fans have reason to rejoice as the upcoming city-building game from Colossal Order promises to completely overhaul and improve every little detail. From City Skylines 2 traffic to seasons, there is much to look forward to ahead of the game's release later this year.
New Features like Parking and Improved AI
All traffic flow enthusiasts can also rejoice as City Skylines 2 finally adds parking to the game. This should really get your traffic moving. "This makes the cities really more realistic. Citizens have to find a parking spot, and that will further increase the importance of streets and traffic," explains Mariina Hallikainen, CEO of Colossal Order.
Revamped economic system and seasonal influences
The newly redesigned economic system in Cities: Skylines 2 is based on real-world economic models, which means that citizens earn money and spend it on housing, travel, and leisure activities. Seasons will also play a role in the game, affecting power consumption, traffic, and weather.
Further improvements for a more comprehensive gaming experience
The vehicle navigation and traffic AI have been completely overhauled, and cars now switch lanes to make way for emergency vehicles. With these changes, Colossal Order aims to create a much more comprehensive base game for Cities: Skylines 2, which can then be expanded upon.
