Julius Caesar can now plunder more gold when conquering a city or raiding a barbarian outpost. With Wu Zetian, all spies operate at a higher level. Success in offensive espionage missions now pays off doubly - you receive 100% of the culture, science, and faith points of the attacked city. The Nordic king Harald Hardrada receives a discount when hiring units and saves on maintenance. And last but not least: Abraham Lincoln. His industrial zones provide extra amenities and loyalty.
AI Updates and Bug Fixes
But it's not just the leaders that have been improved. The artificial intelligence has also received an update. For example, the Congolese leader Nzinga Mbande has changed her settlement preferences. And a few annoying bugs have been fixed - for example, barbarian attack forces not appearing correctly on Immortal difficulty or plundered dams not being repairable.
