Welcome to Season 04 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Attention Call of Duty fans! The new season brings a lot of fresh content to the popular game. Get ready for the Vondel Assault event, new weapons like the Tempus Razorback assault rifle and the ISO 45 SMG, as well as five new operators, including Nikto. Additionally, there are new prestige levels and challenges to look forward to!
Vondel Assault event and new operators
The Vondel Assault event is the centerpiece of the new season. From June 14th to July 7th, you'll be fighting against Nikto's secret army and trying to reclaim the city. Both SpecGru and KorTac will be reinforced by a total of five new operators, including Nikto himself. Are you ready for the action?
New weapons expand your arsenal
In Season 04, you can look forward to four new weapons, including the Tempus Razorback assault rifle and the ISO 45 SMG, both of which are available for free in the Battle Pass. There's also a new melee weapon: the Tonfa. With these weapons, you're well equipped to take on Nikto's mercenary army in Vondel.
Multiplayer and Warzone ranking games
The new season also brings another ranking season for multiplayer and Warzone. This is the first full ranking season for Warzone. Fight your way to the top and show everyone who's boss!
Prestige levels continue and new challenges await
In Season 04, the prestige ranks will increase from 13 to 17, meaning a new maximum level cap of 850! Each of the four new prestige ranks and 200 levels comes with a new symbol next to the number. Complete challenges to unlock exclusive items like a special weapon blueprint.
Season 04 patch notes
As always, the Call of Duty studios will release patch notes that contain all the changes that come with the seasonal update. The patch notes for Season 04 are expected to be released shortly before the start on June 14. So keep your eyes peeled and stay informed about all the new features!
