With Season 1 Reloaded, a new weapon comes to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2: The Chimera. You can unlock the assault rifle in three different ways. We'll tell you how.
What kind of weapon is the Chimera?
The Chimera is an assault rifle with a silencer, belonging to the assault rifle class. It has a high rate of fire and uses subsonic bullets. This makes it particularly suitable for stealthy operations and close-range combat.
How can you unlock it?
One particularly easy way to unlock it is in the multiplayer of Modern Warfare 2. All you have to do is complete the corresponding challenge (Reach two Operator kills with assault rifles in 15 different multiplayer matches) and it will be available.
Even easier, but more expensive, is to simply buy the Chimera in the in-game store. Here the rifle is available via bundles, in which you can invest your CoD points.
The third way is to unlock it via the Warzone 2 DMZ game mode. If you visit the so-called Building 21, you can find and then successfully extract the weapon there. But unfortunately, Building 21 is not yet available in DMZ.
But one last trick can help you get the coveted weapon. If a friend or team member has already unlocked the Chimera, they can simply give it to you in DMZ.
