Crysis 3 is a first person shooter from Crytek. The game is the third part of the successful and namesake series and was released on 21 February 2013 in Germany. Crysis 3 is available on PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
What is Crysis 3 about?
In Crysis 3 you take on the role of the protagonist Prophet. 24 years after the events of the second part you return to New York in 2047, to stand up to the corrupt C.E.L.L Corporation, which with a huge dome over the metropolis wants to take over world domination.
Since the construction of the dome, New York has already changed a lot. The destroyed city is traversed by rainforest, tall trees and swamps and the human population has shrunk considerably.
Prophet now has to fight through the seven different landscapes of the so-called Liberty Dome and use all his experience and the skills of his nano suit to be able to withstand the powerful C.E.L.L Corporation.

Although there may be no direct news about Crysis 3, on April 16, 2020, the developer announced the release of Crysis Remastered. The revised first part of the series is to be released in the course of the summer for the current consoles and the PC.
