Development of Crysis 4 - where does the project currently stand?
Crytek is still hard at work developing the long-awaited Crysis 4. Currently, they are looking for experienced developers to work on the "next campaign" for the continuation of the popular FPS game. Crytek is looking to hire a total of 22 new employees who will work directly on Crysis 4. The multitude of high-level positions to be filled suggests that the development of Crysis 4 is still in its early stages. However, this also shows the developer's serious commitment.
In a new recruitment video, Crytek says: "A Crysis is coming. Help us build the next campaign. We push the boundaries of what's possible to make the impossible a reality." In addition to the positions for Crysis 4, other positions are also being advertised, including lighting and environment artists as well as gameplay and physics programmers. Additionally, Crytek is also looking for new employees for Hunt Showdown.
When can we expect the release of Crysis 4?
According to current knowledge, the release date of Crysis 4 is likely to be in 2024. So far, no actual gameplay has been shown - only the announcement trailer gives a first glimpse into the upcoming game. The nanosuits seem to be returning and there are hints that Crysis 4 will be set in an urban rather than a jungle scenario, similar to Crysis 2.
What can we expect from Crysis 4?
