New Dimensions in Cult of the Lamb
Imagine if GTA 6 had a cute, dark twin in the indie space. That's exactly what's happening with Cult of the Lamb. With its latest "Sins of the Flesh" update, developers Massive Monster and Devolver Digital are adding some spicy elements to the game. They're introducing drinks, weapons, and even sex - elements we would typically expect from a title like GTA.
Drinking Houses and Merry Followers
But don't worry, it all stays within the charmingly bizarre style of Cult of the Lamb. Soon, there will be a fully functional drinking house in the game. This brewery-like building will produce all sorts of drinks from the game's berries and fruits. The purpose? To keep our loyal cult followers happy! The developers promise "grape nectar and fruit elixirs" that create "hiccup-inducing and mixed drinks." And as the drinks make their way through your cult, you'll hear "laughter in merry joy" and the sound of "clinking glasses, a festive delight."
Weapons, Sex, and a Nudist Ritual
But the update has even more to offer. In addition to alcohol, there will also be weapons, sex, and a nudist ritual. How exactly all of this will look in the game remains to be seen. But it is certain that these elements will bring a new depth and variation to the game.
We are still missing the ability to drive and steal... although in Cult of the Lamb, we can already commit the ultimate crime by fighting our way through.
More Previews of the Update
The good news is that we don't have to wait long for more news. The indie developer announced in a Steam update that they will be posting weekly teasers and previews for "Sins of the Flesh" until Christmas on December 25th. Maybe we'll get another glimpse of the update and its possible introduction of a most-wanted system.
