Cyberpunk 2077 will be expanded in 2023 with a Game of the Year Edition. This was officially confirmed by the CEO of CD Projekt Red at an investor meeting in Warsaw.
At this year's investor meeting of the developer studio CD Projekt Red, CEO Adam Kicinski confirmed that there will be a GOTY edition of the game. However, before the new edition, the Erweiterung Phantom Liberty as well as a comprehensive update will appear. At the same time, Kicinski also said that this version will be released at full price.

He referred to the popular Witcher 3 and the two expansions that appeared before the GOTY edition. According to him, it is the natural course of things. After the Game of the Year Edition is released, CD Projekt Red will focus entirely on the successor to Cyberpunk 2077. This is currently known under the Codename Orion. It is not yet known to what extent the newly opened developer studio in Boston will be involved in the new development.
