Cyberpunk 2077 - Cyberpunk 2077's patch comeback pays off for CD Projekt Red

Since the last update, it has become noticeably clear that Cyberpunk 2077 has turned into a real money printing machine. The number of players went through the roof with the Netflix series. According to official financial reports, it is now clear: The rehabilitation of the role-playing game has also paid off financially.

After the well-known figures, CD Projekt Red broke its own record and generated sales of around 54 million US dollars in the third quarter of this year. This increased the overall profitability to 47 percent - what an incredible rate.

The company cites not only the strong sales figures, but also the release of the Netflix series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners as reasons for the success. But the most striking thing is said to be the support despite the disastrous launch at the end of 2020. This would have changed the perception of Cyberpunk 2077 and CD Projekt Red significantly and the developer studio can now also benefit from it financially.

But that's not all: With Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty next year, the first and only story DLC for Cyberpunk 2077 is due, further patches and updates are also planned. So we can be excited!
