Cyberpunk 2077 - Our Top 10 Features of the Sci-Fi Adventure

Keanu Reeves, or rather his character Johnny Silverhand, will have twice as much play time in Cyberpunk 2077 as originally planned. This is what the Italian voice actor said in an interview at the Lucca Comics and Games Festival in Italy. He recently received the information that his voice-over time will be doubled. The reason for the much more extensive role of Silverhand is Keanu Reeves himself, because the actor is having so much fun working on Cyberpunk 2077 that he wants to be a bigger part of it.

Keanu Reeves' involvement in Cyberpunk 2077 was announced at a press conference by Microsoft at E3 2019. Since then, more and more Hollywood stars have been appearing in the game.

Our Top 10 Reasons Why You Should Buy Cyberpunk 2077

1. Keanu Reeves in Cyberpunk 2077
As mentioned at the beginning, you meet Johnny Silverhand in Cyberpunk 2077 and thus Keanu Reeves. Silverhand acts as a sort of digital ghost in the game, taking on the role of the tutorial and accompanying the player throughout the entire story of Cyberpunk 2077, more or less.

2. A game for everyone, even those who don't usually like shooters
"It was important for us to make it playable for people who don't usually play FPS games," said Alvin Lui from CD Projekt Red in an interview with WVVF Tech. The last gameplay videos and trailers have already shown that Cyberpunk 2077 is anything but a simple FPS. In almost every mission, there are ways and means to solve them without firing a shot. The game should always be able to offer the right gameplay for shooter fans and non-shooter fans alike. The open world of the sci-fi adventure will also offer a multitude of alternative activities other than just messing around with weapons.

3. Three different game modes
Cyberpunk 2077 has a single player mode, co-op mode and also a multiplayer mode. This means that you can enjoy the game in every form to its fullest. This will be a difference to games like GTA V which has a special multiplayer online mode called GTA Online which is completely separate from the single player story.

4. The Techie Class
There is the option to play the Techie Class. The name already gives away most of what is hidden behind the class. The Techie is specialized in cables, cameras, laptops and robots. So he is more specialized in the hardware and mechanics and not on the programming code behind it. Disassembling and modifying and rebuilding improved is one of his abilities. With his own robot, the Techie is similar to the little robots from Watch Dogs 2 but can do much more. For example, he can crawl along the ceiling and cut off lamps and similar things and let them fall down on enemies. The developer CD Projekt Red is holding back with further information, but still because one should discover the class itself.

5. The NetRunner Class
The NetRunner Class is exactly what we had hoped for Watch Dogs. In contrast to the Techie, the NetRunner focuses on hacking technology and machines and manipulating them from the outside. The class itself is more to be understood as a Stealth Runner but can also be played very aggressively according to the developer. We are curious how the class will perform especially in comparison to the also appearing in 2020 Watch Dogs: Legion and whether one can compare them at all.

6. Different types of weapons
Cyberpunk gives you not only a wide selection of weapons and modifications for these, but also distinguishes three basic types, which differ very strongly from each other.

    • Power Guns are the classic weapons that shoot bullets and kill things.
    • Tech Guns are also physical weapons, but their bullets and projectiles cause other damage as well. There are Tech Guns that shoot small EMP ammunition or chemical substances. The weapons can even penetrate walls and doors and offer more options.
    • Smart Guns is exactly what you would expect from a weapon in 2077. With bullets that bounce off the ground or even fly around corners.

7. Many side missions and minigames
Not only the main story of Cyberpunk 2077 will be very extensive, but also the minigames and side missions. The developer CD Projekt Red has already shown with The Witcher III that he can get much more out of a game than just the main story. Minigames such as underground boxing and martial arts fighting have already been confirmed. In addition, there will be hacking games, street races and shooting ranges.

8. Character Creation Leaves Everything Open
Character creation leaves all options open. So you can create a classic male or female character, but the options allow for much more. A male voice with a male face but a female body, for example, is possible. But also a non-binary gender can be chosen.

9. Different Life Stories
Choose your own life story and influence the course of the game. According to current information, there are three different background stories that you can choose from when creating your character.

    • As a Street Kid you will get along much better with the gangs of Night City. This is also logical if you consider that you come from the same background.
    • Corpo are more the elite of Night City and so it will be easier for you to deal with the better-off.
    • CD Projekt Red has not yet revealed any information about the Nomad.

10. Cybernetic Implants
The Mantis Blades that spring out of the cybernetic forearm and mow down all enemies. The developer has already announced that in addition to the Mantis Blades, there will also be some other weapons that can be placed in the forearm.
