Early Access to DCS: F-15E by RAZBAM
The developer RAZBAM has released the long-awaited F-15E Strike Eagle for the combat flight simulation game DCS World in early access. This detailed implementation of the legendary fighter jet promises realistic gameplay and exciting missions. DCS: F-15E Top Tips
Here are some helpful tips to get the most out of your DCS: F-15E experience:
- Radar channels are modeled and must be decluttered to avoid interference in multiplayer mode.
- PACS - All non-smart weapons must be manually entered into the jet every time you rearm in the game.
- Mic switch must be set to "on" to communicate with ground crew with cockpit closed - it is off by default.
- LANTRIN pod has only FLIR function, no CCD/TV and prohibits laser use above 25,000 feet.
- Cold start - apply parking brake before setting INS to ALIGN, otherwise the process may fail. Avoid rearming during alignment.
DCS: F-15E by RAZBAM - Known Issues
Even though the game is already in early access, there are still some known issues being worked on:
- Bombs can land behind the target in AUTO mode during shallow drops. Dive bombing is recommended for improved accuracy.
- CBUs can open too early, especially when dropped above 1500 ft AGL.
- HUD repeater on MPCD sometimes not visible.
- MFD exports not yet implemented.
