Hey, gamer! Have you heard the exciting news in the world of the horror game Dead by Daylight? Yes, you read that right. Your new friend till the end, Chucky, is now part of the game. And that's not all! The developers have also implemented some amazing updates to enhance your gaming experience.

You're surely thrilled to hear that Chucky was warmly welcomed during the latest Public Test Build (PTB). The initial impressions were positive, so the changes to the Dead by Daylight: Chucky content have been kept minimal for the full release. To give the survivors a chance to react, some adjustments have been made. These include slightly increasing the time it takes to vault under a pallet to 1.4 seconds and adjusting the killer's movement speed after a missed Slice & Dice attack.

Fine-tuning and Add-Ons

The developers have fine-tuned the Slice & Dice attack. The duration of Slice & Dice has been increased to 1.2 seconds to reduce reliance on specific Add-Ons and make others more attractive. Additionally, many other Add-Ons have been balanced, bringing the strongest and weakest options more in line with each other.

Batteries Included: Changes to Perks

Another exciting change is the modification to one of the new perks, Batteries Included. This perk gives the Killer a sustained speed boost when passing by an active generator. However, a new clause has been introduced: Batteries Included now deactivates when the exit gates are powered.

The Trickster: Balance Changes

Balance adjustments have also been made to The Trickster. The throwing rate has been reset to 3 blades per second, and the main event now requires 8 blades to activate. A number of Add-Ons have also received new effects.
