New DBD update promises us many implementations from the Beta version, but also new additions that are yet to come.
Dead by Daylight's Year 7 Roadmap Successfully Implemented
What's next?
Eight months ago, Dead By Daylight's last year anniversary show kicked off, announcing the Year 7 Roadmap. This included a full overhaul of the progression system and matchmaking. In September 2022, an early preview of the Finishing Mori System on the Public Test Build (PTB) was then followed, with its evaluation now complete. Matchmaking was also thoroughly examined in 2022 and fan feedback was collected. The year quickly passed, and January 2023 was at the door - and with it, a new update.
Dead by Daylight: Bloodweb Improvements, Map Rotation Prevention
The new update gives us the ability to search through various menus during the game search, making the wait a bit more enjoyable. Archive challenges can now be tracked during a game, so you always have an eye on when you joined them. These things mark the end of the roadmap goals. But after the implementation of these, the developers have been working on other things. So the new update also contains the eagerly awaited Survivor Activity HUD.
Bloodweb improvements, map rotation prevention, and the fixing of Survivor bots are the next big changes planned for Dead By Daylight. In addition, the developers are working on a visual terror radius, which would also address people with hearing and/or visual impairments. Perk updates and time-limited outfits/cosmetics will also be found as usual.
